Duke Vin e Count Suckle emigraram da Jamaica para a Inglaterra em 1954 e pouco tempo depois fundaram o primeiro sound system em terras britânicas. Levaram consigo o som contagiante que já dominava os quatro cantos da ilha caribenha, iniciando uma influência severa no cenário musical do país europeu. O ska chegava para ficar!
